GeorgeTech Privacy Notice

Last updated: 18 October 2026

1. Who this notice applies to

This notice explains how GeorgeTech handles personal information relating to website visitors, prospective customers, customers and users of GeorgeTech services. GeorgeTech is responsible for deciding how this information is used.

For privacy questions, contact support@georgetech.uk.

2. Information GeorgeTech may collect

Please do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive personal information through email, the callback form, live chat or support tickets.

3. Why information is used

Information may be used to respond to enquiries, take steps towards a contract, provide and support agreed services, maintain security, keep appropriate business records, meet legal obligations and improve GeorgeTech systems.

4. Lawful bases

Depending on the circumstances, GeorgeTech may rely on steps requested before entering a contract, performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the business, compliance with a legal obligation, or consent where consent is appropriate.

5. Sharing and service providers

Information may be processed by providers used for hosting, authentication, data storage, email, security or other necessary business services. The public contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help detect automated abuse, which involves processing limited technical and security information. Providers should only receive the information needed for their role. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to protect legal rights. GeorgeTech does not sell personal information.

6. International processing

Some technology providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, GeorgeTech will consider the provider's safeguards and use an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism where required.

7. How long information is kept

Information is kept only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose collected, to provide support, maintain necessary records or meet legal obligations. Retention will vary according to the type of enquiry, account, project or record. Information that is no longer required will be deleted or anonymised where appropriate.

8. Security

GeorgeTech uses proportionate measures intended to protect personal information, including access controls, account authentication and restricted customer records. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so users should avoid including unnecessary sensitive information.

9. Cookies and local storage

The public website does not use advertising or behavioural tracking cookies. The Support Centre may use essential browser storage or authentication data so users can sign in and keep their session secure. These functions are necessary to provide the requested service.

10. Your rights

UK data-protection law may give you rights to request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your information; object to certain uses; receive certain information in a portable format; or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Rights depend on the circumstances and may be subject to legal exceptions.

Send requests to support@georgetech.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

11. Product-specific notices

A GeorgeTech product or browser extension may have its own privacy notice describing functions and data use particular to that product. Those notices are provided directly from the relevant product, store listing or service page and supplement this general notice.

12. Changes

This notice may be updated as GeorgeTech services develop. The current version and update date will remain available on this page.
